ABOUT FemTechBreakfastClub
The FemTech Breakfast Club (FBC) is Canada’s largest national fundraising and pitch platform dedicated specifically to early-stage innovations in women’s health. It aims to bridge the funding gap in FemTech by connecting promising, women-led startups with venture capital (VC) investors and ecosystem partners. The club focuses on several core components to support founders and investors alike: Fundraising Bootcamp: The club selects top startups to participate in an investor-led, virtual bootcamp; National Pitch Showcases: FBC hosts invite-only pitch competitions and showcases alongside major tech conferences across Canada; and Bridging the Gender Gap: The initiative tackles the biases often faced by women-led and gender-diverse health innovators by putting them in front of VCs who are actively looking to invest in women’s health.
